Gediminas Vitkus

A jeweler with a 25 years’ career in this field. His first exhibition was organised back in 1993. During his study years he tried to choose between ceramics and jewelry and finally stayed with jewelry as in this area he saw a possibility to try various materials and technologies, however, the most important stimulus was that people could wear his creation every day. The author finds a great joy to dive into the creative process to embody the matured idea resulting in a piece of art. In his work Gediminas uses gold and silver, decorates his pieces of jewelry with impressive precious and semi-precious natural stones. His works are distinguished by Lithuanian subtlety as well as prominent exclusivity of the author’s ideas.
